Snow

Well, we came over here all geared up for a very snowy winter, and it seems that England has had more then us!!! I think the most we've had is about 4 inches a couple of months ago, and a few sprinklings here and there. It is staying around at our house though, which is interesting considering there isn't any anywhere else. The snowmen I made before Christmas are looking a bit worse for wear, though!

I guess it's a good thing. We have a very long steep driveway, and our snowblower didn't work very well the first couple of snows, so we ended up shoveling it, and that was hard work! Took me about 3 hours the first time.

Other than that we're doing well. We haven't had a chance to go skiing/snowboarding yet, but hope to soon. I heard it's great up at Schweitzer.

Colin is really good at keeping the house warm with all of the wood he gathered in the fall. As the old saying goes - he who heats with wood gets warmed twice. We're hoping to be able to afford to buy it in next year :)

Looking forward to a visit from Grammy, Grampy and Great Granny from England in May!
